This year has started with a bang! Work is busier and really starting to come together. Existing customers are coming back for multiple projects, and new customers are getting excited and coming on board. Few Magazine articles coming out this year, and a few more faces in Sales and Tech support departments. Exciting is certainly a good word to describe work. Kids have been great, tiring yet fun. What a blessing they are and yet sometimes you wonder. :-) This year is our 10th anniversary coming in September and I really hope we can do something nice resources providing ofcourse. It has been a hard 5 years of bustin my butt, and learning from alot of mistakes.. But I am still learning.. hehe.. I want to end this year in a big way, and looking forward to securing the ship, training the crew, making a few key checkpoints, winning a few battles, and taking an actual vacation when all is said and done in 07!

 

Elisha's B day was alot of fun. We did it at home, and invited a few friends. The tree in the background is a money tree they call it, and is typically a blossoming tree with little money pockets that kids pick off the tree for New Years.. It is an Asian tradition and meant to celebrate the coming of a new year (lunar calendar). These pockets are cool cause they are actually fish and when you pull on the mouth it opens to reveal the money inside ( I remember Jesus told a disciple to go to the fish market buy a fish and open its mouth to get the coins to pay tribute). Then the kids back home would take the money and buy some treats at the market of their choice and all meet together to share them with each other. Amazing how poor kids are in many ways the happiest as long as they have food in their stomachs, clothing on their backs, and parents that love them. In a funny sorta way they are the richest kids in the world and with no debt I wonder who the rich people really are!!??

 

Happy New Year.. Chuc Mung Nam Oi! Especially to all my family on the other side of the world. We miss you, especially ba.. Hopefully our vacation end of 07 will find us there with you all for 4 weeks!!
